This post was meant for yesterday but pic couldnt be uploaded then:

Today is Mother's day and since im so cheap this is what my sister and i made for our mother this afternoon:

And to prove how cheap one can be, we actually made the muffins from those instant 3-in-1 packets. So they are actually ciplak muffins but do not be fooled, we made it with tlc and just a whole lot of love for food. Now they're called mümfins since they're made specially for mum's day. The brown are made from Boh's teacino caramel while the white are from Nesvita nestum oat drink. But we added streaks of cocoa so we get really sexy mumfins specially for a sexy ol' half a centurian lady.Happy Mother's Day, mummy mumster!!! <--(V)--«

I wish i was one of those who blog religiously. And interestingly. But well, i wish...

Anyway, for the past 1 month plus, i was reading other people's blog and while i realise that i should be updating my own, i've just been 2 lazy to do so.

I think I’m addicted to blog reading. Everytime im online, 99.9% of the time i will head first to kennysia and from there i go to other blogs. Now I read certain blogs religiously. And all i shall say is, i learnt a lot. Really. :P

In the past month, the scorpion that belongs to my sister gave birth to around 17 cute lil white squishy babies. Heck, it was as exciting as watching the birth of your own child, minus the pain and gory scenes. Scorpions have perfect timing, 1 hour 1 baby. And talking about perfect timing, the scorpion couldnt have done better than to choose to go on labour on Labour Day itself. So for the whole day we anticipated the total no of babies. Imagine how much money you can get selling them, since pet shops sell full growns at rm30. We'll probably get to sell em for rm20 per baby scorpion. My sister should seriously think about breeding more animals. More animals=more money. So smart.

Look at what i spent my very spare time doing:

Its a cut and paste picture of all the animals we have at the Chung animal shelter. ha. ha.

HAHAHA!!! Check out http://www.MyHeritage.com/

Its one of the coolest place i've ever been to. Found out about it from KennySia's blog.

First you upload a picture and then they will match your features to a celebrity's and voila, you get to find your long lost celebrity twin/brother/sister/relative.

Its very addictive and with my first photo uploaded, i was matched with Stephen Chow(hmm..possible?)
My 2nd photo was matched with Choi Ji Woo (hahaheheh, really!!)
Third was Kim Yun-jin from Lost (hmm, 2 Koreans so far, and gorgeous one pulak!!)
The fourth was Kylie Minougue (errr...)
Sadly, the 5th was...Wen Jiabao, a political figure from China...
And, the last photo i updated today was matched with....Jang Nara...!!!

Yeeeehaa!!Do i look Korean??!! Because i have 3 Korean matches....teeheehee

On another note, i just finished watching Mukodono today. Or otherwise known as The Son-in-Law. Hilarious at times but boring at some parts too. Nevertheless, worth the watch. Its about this really cool and handsome singer-actor who leads a double life. Have you ever wondered what seemingly cool and calm stars like Gackt are like when they're not making an appearance or just chilling out at home away from the prying eyes of the public? So, that drama kind of shows you the double life of a famous star. Was kind of shocked at first when i realised the dorky geeky jumpy guy and the cool Gackt-like famous star were the same person. It was a case of 'cannot be lah!' cos they were so different. When he goes out as a famous star, he speaks in this super sexy deep voice that sounds very much like gackt's. For me, one of the highlights of watching that drama was that.

Applied for uni already but i forsee that i will be updating it until im satisfied. Have 3 more chances to change it. I hope to go over the sea, namely Laut China Selatan. My geography must be alright since i know what lies between.

I think im destined to go either sabah or sawarak because i have this birthmark that is shaped exactly like the Borneo island with the whole dog-head like thing and the tail and also a couple of the islands around it. Mysterious eh? Nyeh nyeh nyeh...

Yo yo, I’ve finished Dragon Zakura and Gokusen 2 within this week…and now I have nothing to watch. Boo..
Something interesting happened yesterday. I know it is common knowledge that you CANNOT microwave an egg. But it is in my vast knowledge that you can. And because I can, I can make hard boiled egg anytime I want. Unfortunately, the special microwaved egg maker that I have to put my precious egg into before popping it into the oven is made in Thailand and therefore its productivity has decreased over use which explains the ‘something’ that happened. It definitely comes close to a massacre.
The crime scene of the infamous chicken egg massacre.

Every mother hen’s nightmare.

Due to the fact that it could not be tighten as tight as it should be and the fact that it has endured a lot of abuse from me us all, it decided that enough was enough, and went pop, no, it went lalaBOOM!! No warning, nothing. After the initial shock from everyone except me because I was deliriously excited, the door of the microwave oven was then opened cautiously by our very own brave matriarch and to our very much amused selves, we peered in to find that the poor egg(may its dear soul rest in peace) had exploded all over inside the oven. Fortunately, all activity stayed inside the oven. I mean, I definitely don’t want to be called an egghead, literally speaking. Twas a sadistic ending to an innocent egg. And me cos I ended up cleaning everything.

And this is the cake we bought from Gold Vision on Sunday:

They were offering all cakes, tarts, and bread in sight at 50% discount. Apparently, it was a 1 day a year thing. How fortunate we were to have stumbled upon such a sale, and how unfortunate for it to be a once a year thing. And they were still churning out cakes faster than you could say Matsumoto Jun, Hideaki Takizawa, Akanishi Jin, and Kamenashi something, and repeat twice. If you want them to appear in you dreams, repeat 5 times, if they appeared in you nightmares, well, at least they did appear. This fair cake with a name so alluring as Fair Lady, is as good as it looks. Delicious to the last bite (unfortunately, i missed that last slice..sigh). If there is anything I love more than cake, its presents, but if my present is cake, then I love cake more. Doesn’t make sense. But I love cake!! I have photos of cake pasted on my cupboard. In fact, I shall dedicate a song to cake. Its The Look of Love by Diana Krall. And this is the chorus:

I can hardly wait to hold you, feel my arms around you,

How long i have waited,

Waited just to love you, now that i have found you.

This is one of the oldies I’ve been listening to and lately a lot more from Light and Easy because im getting old but no worries I still have the mentality of a 16 year old(result from one of those i-have-ntg-better-to-do quizes). La la la….

I’m sane but I think I’ve lost my mind.

I suffered a bit of blogging boredom. Suddenly i was too lazy too blog or too busy doing other boring stuff. That explains the long absence of any sign that i was still living, breathing and eating. So sorry Xingling-chan, no more mouth-watering to-die-for cookies and cakes and other delicious creations for you to feast your eyes on. Took a break from the wonderful world of baking and cooking because i was getting fatter.

Now i basically live each day like the two hamsters i live with live their life. These hamsters have a very interesting agenda each day. Its basically consists of waking, pooping, peeing, eating and then back to sleeping. So, now you know what i do everyday, since i am too lazy to find work and too busy to work. Basically i do as a hamster do. Except i put in a bit more entertainment like watching tv and going online. And not to forget the violin lessons. But other than that im just like the hammies, since im basically more active at night cos night is the time i exercise.

However, life is more interesting now as i have lots of japanese drama to watch. Yippeee!! After my last drama which was GTO, i somehow managed to survived 1 or 2 weeks without any jap d's. Fortunately, a friend who is truly a japanese otaku and has even been to japan, twice, introduced and even lent me some vcds. The first she introed me to was titled The Innocent Witch/Forbidden Love starring Hideaki Takizawa and Matsushima Nanako which is about:
Michi, a 26 year old high school math teacher, tentatively accepts her boyfriend's proposal of marriage, uncertain of her love for him but feeling pressure from her father and society to do what is expected of her. Hikaru, a 17 year old boy frustrated by his home life with his single mother and having been expelled from many high schools for bad behavior, enters Michi's class as a new transfer student. As their relationship grows they realize that they both feel that they have lost themselves to the pressures of those around them, and it is this common bond that draws them dangerously close. What follows is a heart-wrenching story of forbidden love where Michi must face society's judgement for corrupting a minor, abandoning her fiance, and disappointing her parents and co-workers. ( Ah i took this from jdorama.com so that explains the perfecto english)

I finished that drama very fast and its really great because of the storyline and the realistic emotions and characters besides my constant drooling over Tackey, whom i think is the preetiest boy in japan with feminine features that can attract both sexes but somehow mantains a substantial amount of machoness in his shows. Sluurrpp.... It definitely deserves an award for the storyline something like how that recent movie banned in Malaysia about two hunky cowboys did in the sense that its about forbidden love. Gunung Pecahbelakang! ah...

Now im watching Anego starring Shinohara Ryoko and Akanishi Jin, both of whom i were not familiar with before. And i have others waiting for me: Dragon Zakura, Summer Snow, Gokusen 2....And others which are not waiting for me and have to forage for myself: Boko Dake no Madonna which also stars Hideaki and Nobuta wo Produce and many others which i have yet to discover.

And to end on a sad and terrifying alphabet, my STPM results will be out on the 16th of March!!! I know its going to be a torturous 2 weeks until my result date. And guess what? We can now get our results through SMS too. And you dont need any password or anything, just your IC no. Its so easy and you dont have to go to school on the day itself to collect your results, good for those with embarrassing results like me. The downside is i think that its possible to check your friends results too since all you need is their IC no. Arghhh!! 2 more weeks!! But luckily its the school hols then, we can probably go somewhere for a holiday before the ultimate disaster...So, im hoping for the best, that my crap results will sustain an entrance into uni. Im not sure what field i want to leap into but im definitely interested in aquatic studies. I dream of visiting coral reefs and swimming with dolphins. I love water!! But i swim like a fish out of water. I think i'd be great if i got to go to Sarawak. Lots of attraction there like the different ethnic groups, vast caves, long rivers, glorious food, Kenny Sia...ah, yeah, most interesting is probably the last one...hehehe

Look at the metamorphosis of my sling-over-shoulder-auntie bags. Compared to 2005 and early 2006, i was using a very flaccid olive green bag which by the way, was also a free gift. Now i have an very shapely and expensive Guess bag!! Really didnt see that coming. While everyone else prides in having Gucci, Coach, LV, etc, i am the proud owner of a cool Guess baggy...Both these bags have something in common though, they're were both given to me by my sister....yeah, im starting to see a pattern here. Xingling-chan, buy me a new one every year, ok? *looks up with Momo eyes*

Yesterday was a moment in history. I officially finished the Gokusen 1 drama series. It was the most interesting and funny drama i've ever watched. Im not so sure bout Gokusen 2 though, doesnt look as appealing. And the GTO cds from my sister couldnt have arrived at a more perfecto timing. Now i can go watch a new jap drama without having to wait for it to download. Computer chair, here i come to warm ya up!!! =)
